Excellent location with stunning ocean views. Rooms were clean and decorated nicely. Comfortable bed and great bathroom design; the shower was a highlight. Breakfast cafe served delightful empanadas and cordaditos. Beach staff, particularly Tiger, excelled. significant issues arose. The second room was poorly maintained—broken bed, peeling wallpaper, and cleanliness left much to be desired. Communication with front desk staff lacked warmth. Premises felt 'dead' and family-oriented, with limited engagement. Mandatory valet, high drink prices, and early closures were frustrating. This property has potential but requires an overhaul in maintenance and service quality. It's crucial for management to address these concerns to justify the steep price.

I absolutely loved the stunning Art Deco architecture and the amazing pool area! The weather was perfect and it was just a short stroll to the beach. The staff, especially John, went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable!

Our room was a disaster—old, dirty carpets and a tiny bathroom crammed next to a wall. The shower leaked, black mold was everywhere, and the constant slam of the trash chute outside our door drove us crazy.

The beach access was great, and the hotel lobby had a nice design. It was conveniently situated in a lively area with plenty of options for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Being close to the beach was a definite plus for me.
The room was disappointing. The furniture looked old and worn-out, with the bathroom being extremely cramped.

The room was adequate, equipped with a comfortable bed and relatively quiet surroundings. we were assigned a city view room, which did not meet our expectations for an ocean view despite the premium rate. Temperature control was decent, but our air conditioning broke on the last day, creating an uncomfortable situation. The cleaning service was inconsistent, and the bathroom felt somewhat shabby.

Just a short stroll from iconic places like Ocean Drive and Lincoln Road Mall, this hotel is truly in the heart of the action, allowing for delightful weekend walks where you can soak in the lively atmosphere and enjoy the numerous nearby bars, restaurants, and parks; plus, with beautiful beach access and a lovely pool area, it makes for a perfect getaway. The friendly staff and clean rooms added to the enjoyable experience, but room cleanliness could use some consistency.

The ocean view room boasted a spacious, sophisticated decor, perfectly embodying an Art Deco vibe. the experience was marred by uncomfortable encounters; While the location is prime and the amenities appealing, the disrepair in rooms and cleanliness issues raised concerns. Warm service from the bellhop and attentive beach staff provided some solace, but the overall inconsistency left a lasting impression.

let me start with the positives. The location of the hotel was fantastic, super close to the beach, pool, and shopping areas. That was a major plus for me and my friend. there were some issues that really affected our overall experience. The bathroom was incredibly small, almost like one you'd find on an airplane, just slightly bigger with a bathtub. there was no fan hood in the bathroom, which was a bit odd. When it came to amenities, we found the ironing facilities to be lacking. the heating and air conditioning in our room seemed a bit inconsistent. We were hoping for tea and coffee facilities, but unfortunately, those were not provided. The mini-bar was nice to have, but we found it to be a bit overpriced. A sitting area or terrace would have been a great addition to relax after a long day out. the staff at the hotel were friendly, but the service was a bit slow and lacking attention to detail. We had some issues with housekeeping and getting fresh towels, which was a bit frustrating. The room could have been better soundproofed, as we could hear noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms.

Had an amazing time at the pool bar, Thomas and Issac were super friendly and helpful. Loved being provided with my preferred room type. The hotel's beach location was fantastic, and the pool and bar area were top-notch.
The strong cologne scent in the lobby was overwhelming. The housekeeping service was inconsistent, and the staff's response to room cleanliness issues was disappointing.

stayed at shelborne south beach and it was a fantastic experience. the pool area was clean and right on the beach, with a lovely breakfast served by the pool. the ocean view room was spacious and beautifully decorated with an art deco flare. the staff, especially the concierge omar, was incredibly helpful and friendly. a great location with beach access and walking distance to restaurants and shopping.

The pool area feels like a retro movie set, making me want to dive into a 1950s Hollywood film. The Root & Bone restaurant's fried chicken is so addictive, I'd smuggle it in my suitcase back home.
My view was a lovely construction site - a rare treat! .

I had a fantastic pool day at Shelborne. The cabanas were in great shape, and the service from Ashika was impeccable. The pool had a great atmosphere with good music, not too crowded, and without feeling pretentious. Can't wait to visit again! Overall I had a great experience and would recommend this hotel.

During our stay in South Beach, we had a fantastic experience at a hotel with an unbeatable location. The live DJ at the pool added an extra touch of fun and entertainment. The room itself was spacious and well-maintained, with a private balcony that offered breathtaking views of the beach. The check-in process was quick and hassle-free. We will definitely choose this hotel again for our next visit to Miami Beach.
The most concerning problem was the toilet tipping over due to it not being anchored to the floor. The overall livability of the room was compromised.

location is excellent - very close to lincoln road shopping district and the art deco district. the hotel pool and outdoor dining area lead directly to the beach. the valet service was excellent.
